ST. LOUIS - Recognizing Barnes-Jewish Hospital for high quality care and high standards for employee satisfaction, the 2011 Becker's Hospital Review/Becker's ASC Review list has named Barnes-Jewish as one of 100 Best Places to Work in Health Care. 

The list includes leading health systems, small community hospitals and other facilities that have demonstrated having robust benefits, opportunities for self-improvement, employee appreciation and strong ties between staff members. 

The Becker's Hospital Review/ Becker's ASC Review list was created through a three-month nomination process, extensive research and feedback from health care industry leaders on the final selection of candidates. 

Both based in Chicago, the Becker's Hospital Review focuses on hospital business, finance, legal advice and industry news and theBecker's ASC Review focuses on legal, business and clinical advice for ambulatory surgery center leaders, physicians and administrators. 

Barnes-Jewish Hospital was the only St. Louis hospital named on the list and is a leader in patient care and research, consistently ranked onU.S. News & World Report’s Honor Roll of America’s Best Hospitals.
