With the St. Louis area under a blizzard warning, below is information for patients, visitors and Barnes-Jewish team members.
Information for our Patients and Visitors:
It is business as usual at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Many employees spent the night to be here for their regularly scheduled shifts and many night shift team members are currently sleeping here at the hospital to avoid traveling.
If a patient has an outpatient appointment in a Washington University physician clinic on our campus or an appointment at Barnes-Jewish, it is a good idea to call ahead to 314-TOP-DOCS (867-3627) or call 866-867-3627 to ensure your appointment is running on time.
Information for Barnes-Jewish Team Members:
Team members coming to work today and tomorrow may park in the orange level of the south garage or in the Forest Park/Laclede garage to avoid snow and ice. The gates will be up, if they are not, please buzz security.
Team members who are staying overnight and need accommodations at the hospital may call the command center 747-3290 to hold a space for this evening. Cots and/or mattresses will be available.
Cafeteria food vouchers are available for team members working extra shifts or staying overnight. Managers should stop by the command center (Evens Conference Room) to pick up food vouchers for distribution.
