When you come to Barnes-Jewish Hospital for imaging tests, we want to help make the experience as stress-free as possible.

For your convenience, we have two satellite locations in addition to the facilities at the main hospital. At each location, you will receive the same level of excellence both in the imaging technology used and the expertise of the staff. When you call to schedule your appointment, you can choose which location is most convenient for you. Please note: You or your referring physician will need to provide a referral order before your appointment.

Your Radiology Appointment: Arriving at Barnes-Jewish Hospital

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is located one block north of the intersection of 1-64/US40 and Kingshighway Boulevard. Radiology has two office locations, one in the Center for Advanced Medicine and one in the Washington University Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology.

Radiology Appointments at Our Satellite Locations 

Some types of imaging tests can be performed at one of our satellite locations. If one of these is more convenient for you, specify which location you would like to go to when you schedule an appointment.

Barnes-Jewish Radiology of the Highlands

This facility offers walk-in (no appointment necessary) services for general diagnostics (X-ray) and 3-D mammography. Please note: You will still need a referral order from your physician for walk-in services.

South County Center for Advanced Medicine

This facility provides many of the same radiology services available on the Barnes-Jewish Hospital campus—including CT, general diagnostics (X-ray), interventional radiology (IR), MRI and MSK.
