Fertility specialists at the Fertility & Reproductive Medicine Center treat people throughout the St. Louis region and beyond. If you live outside the area, fertility treatment can involve a lot of time-consuming travel.
That’s why we have established a telemedicine program that allows us to virtually meet with people – for consultations, testing and monitoring – via video conferencing.
Our Telemedicine Program: Reducing the Stress of Fertility Treatment
We developed our telemedicine program to help our fertility patients more easily navigate the process of evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. Telemedicine enables us to:
- Provide long-distance consultations: You can go to one of our satellite clinics where we can connect you via video conference with our St. Louis team of reproductive specialists.
- Access your records and test results: Your fertility specialist can use our secure web access to evaluate your medical records and results of blood work, ultrasounds and other fertility tests done at a satellite location.
- Minimize your travel to St. Louis: A procedure like in vitro fertilization (IVF) requires close monitoring by a physician, including frequent blood work and ultrasounds. You can have much of the monitoring done at our telemedicine clinic, eliminating the need to travel to St. Louis as frequently during an IVF cycle.
