Football fanatics who can''t wait for the Rams'' return in the Fall have a new fix in downtown St. Louis, and for one night proceeds benefit the Siteman Cancer Center.
The RiverCity Rage of the National Indoor Football League (NIFL) have moved their games from the Family Arena in St. Charles to the Savvis Center in 2006 and to raise money for cancer treatment and research at Siteman, "Rage for a Cure Night" is Friday, April 14 at 7pm. Festivities include a halftime celebration to honor cancer survivors and scratcher tickets offer fans a chance to win one of the commemorative jerseys worn that night by Rage players.
Magnetic team schedules acknowledging the Rage for a Cure event will be given away at the door to the first 5,000 fans. Gates open at 6 p.m.
