The hospital’s Arts + Healthcare program fosters a culture that includes the arts as an integral aspect of the healing environment for patients, families and caregivers. Patients, families and hospital staff can find respite and renewal in the midst of stress, and sometimes sorrow, through the enjoyment of the arts.
Activities available to patients and family members include portable bedside art projects, monthly music programming at the Center for Advanced Medicine, and an art activity room in the Shoenberg Pavilion on north campus stocked with a variety of materials and takeaway arts and craft projects.
