Mike was determined to lose 50 pounds so he would be healthy enough to donate a kidney to his best friend Steve. He kept a video diary of his weight loss journey, and shared it on YouTube to encourage Steve during the wait. When Mike reached his goal weight, he and Steve went to the Washington University and Barnes-Jewish Hospital Transplant Center. After the transplant, these best friends say they are closer than ever.
