To make your admission to the hospital as easy and efficient as possible, a pre-admission coordinator will call you at home a few days before your planned admission to verify basic information, such as the name of your employer, your home address and the type of insurance you carry. You can also
pre-register for your admission online.
We recommend that you look at what types of coverage your health insurance provides and ensure you meet all necessary requirements. If you are enrolled in an HMO or a PPO, and need a referral from your primary care physician, please contact him or her to obtain that authorization prior to your hospitalization. When you are admitted, you may be required to pay a deductible or co-payment. In certain cases, an admission deposit (based on your estimated length of stay) may be required. The pre-admission coordinator will discuss the deposit with you.
